The History

Summit Precast Concrete’s origin began in 1946 when John “Jack” Ogorchock started a trucking company in Brookville, Pennsylvania. As the company kept pace with the rapidly growing post-war economy, Jack noticed that the construction industry was suffering from a lack of suppliers. After purchasing a concrete-ready mix batch plant and three delivery mixers, the company soon gained the reputation of providing excellent service and quality concrete to the construction market. It was not long until the Brookville facility was too small. Jack decided to move his family and business to a new location; DuBois, Pennsylvania. The business was given a new identity and was named DuBrook Inc.

For over 75 years, DuBrook Inc. has continued to meet the changing demands of the construction industry using new, innovative ideas with a commitment to quality and service. In the mid-1980s, Jack’s son, Mike, left the family business to start his own Precast Company in Houston, TX. In 2014 the family sold their shares in that business and in July of 2019, the Ogorchock family formed Summit Precast Concrete, LP.

With over 75 years of experience in the concrete and precast industry, the Ogorchocks have established knowledge of the business like no other, paving the way for others to follow. As a family-owned, Christian-based business, we know the value of relationships, of putting our all into all that we do. Trust is everything. And everything is personal.
